What is BAM?
Business as mission (BAM) is a term being used to describe a renewed call of God to Christian business people globally. It embraces the idea that God works in and through all arenas of society and that God created business and wants to use business people to bring His kingdom on earth. Business generates jobs, providing dignity and hope and business creates needed goods and services for a community. Daily business life provides believers with a natural context of relationship to share and show Christ. Through business, people and communities can be positively transformed. A life in business becomes the means of carrying the good news of Jesus through word and deed to the 'ends of the earth'.
Who is BAM of SWEDEN?
BAM Of Sweden is a network of entrepreneurs and professionals interested in living out the Kingdom in the market place, whether at home or in other parts of the world. Our primary focus is to reach the unreached in the 10/40 window. We believe that the Gospel needs to be both preached and lived out in practical ways to meet the needs of our world and give glory to God. Some of those needs are best met through authentic business initiatives, which are welcome in almost any country.
Who is invited?

The aim of this course is to increase the awareness of this new grassroots movement that is spreading quickly all over the world. To lay a foundation for it and start the process among God's people in our region by clarifying what BAM is, give biblical context, show examples and why this must be an important part of our mission strategy for the future. Therefore we are inviting people who we believe are influencers in their field, whether in a denomination, in business, in a mission organization, in theological and mission education or out in the world as a BAM entrepreneurs. Our own focus is primarily participants from Scandinavia but we welcome others as well.
